Glad to find I am not the only one with this problem. I can get round
it by setting the number of copies in the printer driver bu if you
forget to reset it after you end up with multiple copies for all
documents. I bit awkward if the last job wanted 50 copies!

I found that the last workaround results in my external mouse not
working correctly. The mouse will register one more click than there is
supposed to be. If you go to the mouse panel and try the double-click
check you will find that it immediately lights up on the first click.

in Hardy so the bug can be closed. As said, there will be no l-r-m
backports to any release. Instead, starting from Hardy, the archive will

I confirm this bug (2.6.24-7 on Feisty, I must confess). I had the same
problem. Replacing all the occurences of sda with hda in /etc/fstab
fixed the booting issue, but hibernation did not work any more.
Reverted to 2.6.24-5 which works perfectly.

Firefox 2 is not even available as an option in Synaptics and therefore
not obvious to users.
I feel that using firefox 3 as the default is a good choice, but just
like ff3 was (is) an option in Gutsy, ff2 could (should) be an option in
Hardy - just for the people
