Thank you for your prompt reply. Firefox 2 is not even available as an option in Synaptics and therefore not obvious to users.
I feel that using firefox 3 as the default is a good choice, but just like ff3 was (is) an option in Gutsy, ff2 could (should) be an option in Hardy - just for the people who need it. Or am I just being dense?
