Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace-bin
Steps to reproduce 1. Start FVWM2 2. export KDEWM=fvwm2 3. /usr/lib/kde4/bin/startkde The splash-screen shows up, the first icon starts to pulsate (the picture of a harddrive), then X hangs and ctrl+alt+backspace is the only option I could find. This worked perfectly fine for starting KDE with KDE 4.0.0. ** Affects: kdebase-workspace (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [KDE 4] startkde 4.0.1 hangs X https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/191770 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
