They are good to go @600V. Depending on vintage, they may be configurable
for 6 or 12 Volt in the J-box. You might want to consider going the 6V route
and only using 1 string. This would serve to keep your string voltage "up"
if you lose a module or two down the road. Either way, as mentione

need to get them to buy off on it, but most utilities will accept it, though
they may want to put a lock on it. The trick is getting your neutral

If you use a double roof as described, it doesn't matter what the
roofing color is, as long as the eaves are open and you have a good
ridge vent to allow proper circulation, and an air gap of about 3". The
only issue being the added
shingle will reduce the heat that is
absorbed by the roof covering, which reduces the amount of heat that
transfers into the sheathing and attic space. Adequate attic ventilation is
a larger issue. Same principle that Matt Tritt mentioned... Do NOT skimp on
attic ventilation! Lotsa eave (low-side)

Hi guys,
I have been using the SS water loop in my Amish wood cookstove
for my domestic hot water for 9 years now. My tank is a 40 gallon
electric water heater (space saver unit) and is configured for thermo
siphon operation.
The P/T valve is all I have for protection a
gular residential variety.
Cheers,

Matt,
Good suggestion.real hard water here. My water coil needs cleaning
twice each heating seasona royal PITA.
In addition to the weeping, the P/T valves also start leaking around
the valve post too,
so I figure I'm better off
big problem with the tankless heater - without a
standing pilot - is that it might have the opportunity to freeze if not
used for a significant period of time.

I know this doesn't answer your questions, but for similar applications
in the future it would be good to take a close look at the SunnyIsland
system. They're cool.
