I've put an IRD Alpina-d front derailer on my Sam Hillborne. It's a braze-on model of the derailer bolted to a separate clamp. As a practical matter, it works fine. However, I notice that when I shift to the smallest ring (24) on my XD2 triple, the derailer cable interferes with a black cylindrica

Well, the measurements are in. The spindle is in fact 107mm and appears to be symmetrical. So, I'm guessing the issue is with the machining of my particular XD2. This is okay as far as I'm concerned. I have no riding problems with the Q-factor or chainline I have with the 113mm BB. Yours, Thomas

Albatross are a very wide bar. The Bullmoose will be swept back pretty far as well. I would not think a purely straight bar would be good or comfortable for over 12 miles at a time but I cannot argue with what you have found. :) With that said just find a good Nitto straight bar and dirt drop st
