Hhm, not sure I understand. A Sheldon nut would give you 1-2 mm more
thread engagement if using a fender, by mounting the fender tab to the
separate fender bolt. 1-2 mm is not enough for me, I don't think. Am I
missing something?

A correct point. It is the same thread as a brake bolt. My set up
worked as-is, but if I needed more thread engagement, that would be
the way to go.

that rack, but I'm pretty sure you can use a normal recessed allen bolt
(like on any modern sidepull caliper brake) and there is no issue with
getting everything fastened down. You might have to drill out the hole

They say the Nitto Pearl runs longer than the stated extension. My 11
they say is more like a 113mm or something. It's strange since the
Pearl they go out of their way to engrave "Pearl 11" on the side.

when I put the Tektro hanger on the Mini Front's bolt, I don't have
enough threads showing on the back of the fork crown to securely
attach the nut. I find it hard to believe the Bomba fork crown is more
narrow (front to back) than the Sam's. Did you modify your brake
hanger? Did you get

Sorry for the late response, but I used a Dremmel to grind down the
inside of the headset locknut. You could also use a round file, but
it is just going to take longer. Just take the headset locknut off
and see if you can get the stem to fit. If you can, then you may just
need to modify the lock

You don't have to worry about putting a 130 spaced hub into a 135
frame just use a ten dollar 135mm axle and two extra washers. I've
even used the stock 130 axle with 105 Shimano hubs and two washers
making it about a 133.5mm spacing with a frame spaced to 135 and there
was no problem. I might add
