You don't have to worry about putting a 130 spaced hub into a 135
frame just use a ten dollar 135mm axle and two extra washers. I've
even used the stock 130 axle with 105 Shimano hubs and two washers
making it about a 133.5mm spacing with a frame spaced to 135 and there
was no problem. I might add that I rode this combo for maybe 4000
miles. There is less axle in the dropout slot but it worked.......if
you are worried though just have your bike shop supply a longer axle
for you along with the appropriate length skewer.
Regardless, I think you (all) are really splitting hairs on this whole
frame weight comparison. The handling might be slightly faster on the
Roadeo and the overall weight a couple pounds lighter depending on how
you set it up but...........a Ram a Homer and a Roadeo are basically
in the same league. All I know is, if I owned a Homer and wanted to
ride a little faster I would just put on some lighter wheels and tires
but probably just tires. I'll bet that your Homer is a fine riding
machine with more flexibility in tire sizes but if you want a lighter
bike with less clearance and slightly faster steering go for it, just
don't convince yourself that it will make you significantly faster or
whatever.......just saying.
