I have a 61 Roadeo, a 62 Rambouillet, and a 63 Road Standard. The Rambouillet and the Road Standard feel very similar, very comfortable and predictable bikes. The builds on the three bikes are quite different, so sort of unfair to compare, but the Roadeo feels the lightest and the quickest. It seems to be happier and more lively whilst climbing super steep hills - - 18% or so - - where the Road Standard feels just a bit heavier.
The nice thing about all three is how well they descend. I love the way they lock in on tight, twisty, steep downhills. Not very scientific, no talk about planing and such, but there you have it. The Roadeo is a very good bicycle and you would not regret owning one, not for a minute. I would say it's my current favorite. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
