But the interesting thing is that the Roadeo will not split the difference
tire-wise. I've raved about my Ram over and over, but a Roadeo outdoes it in
the tire clearance with fenders department. A Jack Brown with fenders can be
done on the Roadeo, but not the Ram. The Roadeo's going to be an am
700x33 Jack Browns on a Ram/Rom make it the best road bike and turned me into a
Jack Brown preacher.
The canti-Rom and those tires are made for each other.

I did a 30 miler today down along Lake Washington in Seattle and around
Seward Park. I found the VO Porteur bars to be comfortable for this
distance and didn't experience any numbness. I used all the hand positions
(probably about 4 or so). I do have some mild tendinitis right now from
"mousing"

Congratulations! My only experience with blue tape is Velox cloth
bar tape, but I've had good results with it, so I'd recommend it.
With clear shellac, it becomes a dark blue very similar to the blue of
the Quickbeam decals.

When I built up my Xtracycle I installed a flyer, which was perfect
for the close, swept-back handlebars and the very upright position on
that bike.

cushy ride then it's probably overkill. I use the Flyer to smooth out
the kick from an otherwise stiff bike. or put another way, to soften
the ride. The spring action is rather subtle, however. After awhile I
