Actually, only about 10 miles from S.B. Metrolink, so probably about 45 min
that early in the morning... totally doable if you're interested in that
option. put in San Bernardino Metrolink as the directions option and click
"walk" as mode of transportation.

There's a key word to focus on in that article: racing.
In elite/pro level racing, weight definitely makes a difference. For
light weight, carbon and Ti simply win over steel. :-)

having a built in pacing mechanism. and, unless the terrain is really

To pit it further in perspcective the fastests riders on a 1200k (750mi) will
finnish in just under 50 hrs. Again this is elpased time and includes time off
the bike to get cards signed, eat, bathroom and sleep. I am happy just to
finish under the 90hrs allowed.
