The only solution I know of is to go to Mail preferences, check the "classic
layout" checkbox, then find the header of the message, such as the subject.

If you do a google search for email sms or mms, you can find a list of
providers and their email addresses for sending text messages. It's usually
phonenumberatprovider.com, but not always. I don't have an accessible cell
phone, and my husband has a tracfone, and I text him a lot using Mac Mail.
In many web browsers, you can export your favorites to an XML or hTML file and
then import this to Safari. I've done this between various browsers, but not
this specific process. You might do some searching around for
exporting/importing bookmarks.

It's the Mac app store. you can adjust preferences for it in system prefs, app
store. I have mine set to automatic, so I don't get those prompts. The
automatic setting updates system files. It appears there isn't a details button

Actually, I use Notes for this quite a lot. It's not specifically
diary-oriented, but does sync and provide a date and time stamp. I understand
if this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but just thought I'd mention it.
