I use it as well, so if you have questions, let me know. Basically, I can tell you that it has its own frame in safari. If you VO-left from the toolbar once you install it, VO will indicate "html content" Interact with this, and you'll find your LastPass page. It's very much like a web page.
I mostly leave it alone, unless I'm changing or logging into a site for the first time. When you do those things, check with VO-shift-end to go to the bottom of the page. If there's a frame there, then likely LastPass will be prompting you for a response. It's best to use Safari in full-screen mode; otherwise Lastpass will keep refreshing and making things confusing.
