It sounds like you're getting a system voice message about an app being updated. In order to answer your question, you will have to provide more specific information. Sometimes apps leave information in user/library or /library in various folders. Which apps did you uninstall, and which app is the message talking about? If a voice on the Mac says "excuse me. Such-andsuch needs your attention", then this is the system voice. It will mention the name of the app, and you will need this information to find the files to remove.
