I know there are methods for dragging and dropping items with Voiceover,
however, did anyone actually managed to get them work? In particular,
Voiceover tends to cancel the drag-n-drop action once I, say, interact
with an object which I am dragging into.

When I try to interact with the toolbar, VO just beeps at me.
Can I delete the second Skype entry in the usual way, i.e. pressing the
backspace key? I guess I'm afraid to try it without knowing for sure that I
won't irreparably break anything else. :)

I hope you obtained your copy of Lion legally (i.e. as a developer). If not
asking for help on this list would not be appropriate. Any software obtained
illegally is of course pirating and in many countries violates all matter of
laws.

If it were a developer version, it seems unlikely he would be asking for help
here and especially when APple provides a lot of information for developers.
Being a beta it may not be possible to install over an existing SL installation.

obtained a copy that he is attempting to install and having some difficulties.

After reading the thread "waiting on an adapter" I am wondering:
do you need a monitor of some kind with a mac to make things work
right? It almost sounded like, without one, vo gets slower and
slower. My Windows pc has almost never had a monitor hooked up,
which is a huge space saver

2. If it asks to import tell it no.
3. Go to the table with the tracks and hit command-a to select all.
4. Go to Advanced and arrow down to join tracks.
5. Go back to Advanced and hit create (whatever you have import set to create.)

Just a quick note to state that some simple configurations, such as more
memory, can be handled by staff if you purchase directly from the Apple Store.
Basically, all standard configurations are pre-packaged. However, if you buy a
new laptop and want to max out the memory, an Apple Store

the fields until I disabled VO. I reported this but presumibly they've not
addressed it yet.

I have been using the newest version of blackboard for the last several months.
I'm not an expert but I do feel fairly comfortable with it. The only real
problem I have encountered is downloading pdf's that have been uploaded. I
still haven't solved that.

There is an AP I just purchased for $4.99 from iTunes called read2me that works
with my iTouch. It's limited to google docs and PDF files and has some bugs
but it is a really nice option. I've returned to college after losing most of
my vision suddenly to wet Mac and can still read a bit with
Tha'ts true, but I only use rfbd about 1 time every other semester so right now
I'll probably use it on the mac.
