There is an AP I just purchased for $4.99 from iTunes called read2me that works with my iTouch. It's limited to google docs and PDF files and has some bugs but it is a really nice option. I've returned to college after losing most of my vision suddenly to wet Mac and can still read a bit with enough contrast and enlargement. As my vision loss progresses I find my remaining vision in my right eye tires more frequently and quicker than it used to. This little AP has been a nice addition to my toolbox of visual aids - even though I have to delete and reinstall whenever it hangs. I would love to have the company fix the bugs, but am hazard about being able to load my text book PDFs into google docs and have access to them via my iTouch either visually or now I can listen when my eye is too tired to read.
