Oh, it will work, it's useable, but you'll get a lot of busy messages at times, 
and some apps, such as the dvd player will simply refuse to work without a 
monitor attached. You can certainly get it set up though, I actually set mine 
up with no monitor attached, since at the time I didn't know this was required.
