Hi is there any alternative virtual machine software besides fusion?
I'm finding it real sluggish.
I wish virtualbox was accessible.
I want to try bootcamp but i don't have anyone sighted around.
Is there a work around or no?

programs, accessories then scroll down till you find command prompt. Right
click on the command prompt option, and then from the menu, select run as

I'm trying to select more than one track from an album to move to a playlist!
The vo commands menu says vo+cmd+space for multi selection on or off!
But this does not seem to do that!
Also am I correct that you can not pick tracks 1,4,7,11,16.
But have to pick 4,5,6,7,8.

I have a way to get the information from dropbox. You can not get a menu from
the dropbox application.
What you can do is go to your dropbox folder and do a VO + shift + m.
This will give you a menu. One of the choices is dropbox there is a submenu.

shift h to get to your home directory. Forget entirely about the sidebar. There
are keystrokes for changing view in the finder andi usually go cmd 2 on the
numbers ro for list mode.

I have compared Parallels and Fusion and have found the latter to be way
faster. I think there must be an issue with his config because mine was very
fast even with its default Ram allocation of 512.

Thanks to Sarah and Erik I'm more comfortable with the finder so I copied
the SKYPE disk image file from downloads to applications and can now open it
from there. I gather these dmg files are executable and there's no
installation process necessary after downloading?

Another way depending on where you dock is is to go into dock, find
the running application. Arrow right, then VO arrow down to force
quit sometimes that works when the apple menu one doesn't.

I then went into the computer list and located skype.dmg in my downloads
folder. In the file menu eject (command+e) is dimmed, though move to trash
is available. Is that what I want?

I am at a friend's house and he has a bellkin router. My macbook pro refuses to
connect to the bellkin router. It is connected to someone else's linksys router
which is an open network. Can anyone tell me what settings I have to change in
the router to make my macbook pro like it and connect?
Perhaps the router only support 802.11n devices and your 11g mac is
not able to connect to it?
Just a hunch; I haven't really kept ontop of the apple product lines

VLC is pretty good. Not everything is labeled but most of the unlabeled stuff
has tags so you can hear the help tags and label them.
