Hi everyone, Someone recently posted a question about erasing data on a used macbook. Even though mine is new I got to thinking. Can I rename my Macbook? I read lots of forums and know I can easily create a new user account as an administrator under system prefs under accounts. If I change the name of the computer under sharing will that affect the home folder? Also if I create a new admin account, how do I copy all my stuff from my current account over? Can I use TIme Machine? I think I just need to copy the home user folder over to the new account. Is what I have stated correct? My Macbook has my first name, last name dashes and it's just so long. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
