Is anyone wanting to take a shot at what Mac OS X 10.7 is going to be named? I
don't really understand Apple's obsession with felines in Mac OS X, but I found
this satirical picture on Flicker looking like an alpha build installer. If you

There was talk of Snow Leopard actually being called Lynx. However,
Cononical took it in "Lucid Lynx (Ubuntu 10.04) so I'd have to
say...hmm...who thinks Lion would sound good?

I believe we've had Puma, Jaguar, Panther, Tiger, Leopard and SNow Leopard now.
That's for Mac OS X, anyway.
Ceiling Cat would be rather amusing, but I don't think that'll happen.

In using Fusion for 7, I noticed at least a 1 second delay in between the
type I would press the Command (i.e. Windows) key, and the time JAWS
responded. I would personally do it through Bootcamp to avoid this. Also,
Windows 7 takes up a lot of RAM to run virtually, and happens to make my
fans whin

The Mac side can be done without sighted assistance, but you MUST follow the
directions EXACTLY! It will require you to print out the 30+ page bootcamp
assistant documentation, and there are two stages for partitioning your

I do believe it is already turned off by default. You have to install the flash
player in order for flash to work on the mac.

Yeah, I have a macbook here but because I extensively do work at my desk, I
bought an external apple keyboard and use the numpad commander as my

Not for everything, but you do need to remember to select the right
partition, and that's something I did need the documentation to do, as I
wasn't sure how Windows would see it.

As far as I know, there is no auto-install. At least, I have never seen it, and
thus you most likely have to use sighted help as when installing Windows on an
actual PC. It'll probably be the same procedure, according to all the sources I
have looked up.

Well there are advantages and disavantages to each one, but if you already have
fusion, why not make up a bootcamp partition and virtualize it? Then you could
try both ways and use which one you like, or either or depending on the
situation.

We use ClamXAV from time to time, just to make sure we don't pass on any
virused files to Windows users, but so far, we haven't found anything, but then
we don't open files we're not sure about.

Yes you can but you need to hut voice over off, do a comand option h to hide
all other apps do a comand g and bring voice over back. You need to this one
per boot though.

If you download windows images from torrents, they are usually modified in some
way. They are not the original windows image, either because they have more
drivers/features added to them, or they are a recovery disk for a certain type
of computer. This messes with fusions ability to au

CD be ejected automatically after burn or import? But maybe you can go in the
