Funnily enough, that checkbox is already unchecked, so that doesn’t seem to be
it. Also the note by it says:
“Automatically switch voices based on language of text.”
And as I said it’s not switching voices, just saying these other names in my
default VoiceOver voice
You did not specify on which device you are experiencing this issue, but since
you say you are a programer, I will assume you are using a Mac.
To stop VoiceOver from speaking some characters in a different language, try
the following:
1. Open VoiceOver Utility, and select Speech from the

It's not really clear what the problem is, but at a guess, go into
Accessibility settings and make sure all the options under Spoken Content are
off. Then make sure VoiceOver isn't configured to speak the item under the
mouse pointer after a delay.
See if those suggestions help

I wonder if you have an open dialog that might be causing your issues. When
your mac is on the desktop press voiceover plus F1 twice to bring up the
application chooser. If you have a dialog box that is causing the issue this
should let you get to it to close it.

Well, braille does not work properly I think in Sequoya but there are to few
braille users on the beta testing program.

Whenever Voiceover comes across “blockquote level1” or “end block quote’ it
delivers these prompts in a very high pitched voice. I don’t know how to stop
this or how to stop Voiceover actually saying these prompts. I don’t need to
know them either. Any tips please/
