That’s what I had it set to - text attributes = do nothing. I’ve just fiddled with settings and what seems to have fixed it is to set “read numbers as” words rather than digits. That’s so curious. Anyway, I’ve reported it to Apple Accessibility. Why should “read numbers as digits” play havoc with how numbers are read? This is highly irregular.
