It's been annoying me for quite some time now. When using Safari 5 with
Voiceover on Snow Leopard, the response is not at all fast and, more
than often, Voiceover would go into "Safari busy" loop. I understnad

And it seems as though showing and hiding the address bar which is normally
command shift backslash doesn't work.

It happens with all websites for you? For me and most others on the list, it
is just 2 or 3 sites at the most. Most notably audible.com.

Well, I just tried the apple support page that I was having problems with and
it worked fine twice in a row. This is starting to get really tricky.

Everybody just started buzzing about this a few days ago, so I wouldn't be too
concerned at this point that it hasn't been fixed. I will be more concerned
after several months have gone by.

I didn't provide a link, but you are right that you can go to the audible site
and navigate around, until you sign in. So if you're not a member, or if you
access audible using google search and then clicking on their link, it works.

used the cd htat came with my mac to do a reinstall of the os and it took it
back to safari 4. I was surprised it didn't totally whip
I have not tried either s5 or Audible, but a couple things to try:
1. Turn off cursor tracking. Some sites do a lot of javascript when the mouse
moves over a specific point, or the insertion point changes. This can wreck
havoc when all three track each other. Facebook is on my bad behavior lis

I wan't to add that sense installing this way, it seems much faster to me.
This will really be a good thing if they get the vo bugs worked out. I believe
that the problems are from vo and not Safari.
I haven't tried this myself, but I think that ClickToCrash (AKA ClickToFlash)
