Ok this started on the other Mac running Ventura and still the same
on the new Mac running Sequoia. When I launch the app, all 3 tasks are
dimmed. The app is registered. I have no clue what the issue is.

a link, which was near the user manual link, but I could not activate it. I

I'm afraid I didn't scan the book in ten minutes, it was the OCR that took that
length of time. I spent a couple of hours scanning the book using VueScan.

drivers that are not emulated, Abbyy should work directly with that scanner. To
me, that implies that you wouldn't need another app to do the actual scanning
