What filesystem is your 500 gb drive running? NTFS, Fat 32 or one of
the Mac/Linux filesystems?
Have you installed any virtual cd-drives on your machine? That's the
only thing which makes my cd-drive spinning when I don't use it.

Just recently I had my iTunes library become corrupted and I was forced to

and memory to itself, the responsiveness of fusion is quite good though,
that's what I use and I have no plans to switch to boot camp because of
speed issues.

One advantage of fusion is that it will allow you to install windows without
sighted help. It also allows you to run wwindows and the mac OS at the same

Bootcamp will give you greater performance. However, I run Fusion and
for what I do, mostly web development, under Windows XP, Fusion is
quite responsive.
I would recommend giving things a try with Fusion and if you notice

Hi Louie
Open the disk utility (Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.app)and
burn it from there. It has full support for iso files, just press
command+b and point it at the ISO file you need to burn.

over the group mode thing. I think I'll wait on that until I get more

I can confirm your problems. Here, it occurs whenever i VO to
investigate the mail headers or such. Shift tabing out of the message
body seems to solve the problem. I have had this problem even before
the latest Safari beta.

Interestingly, I have had no issues with Mail or any other application
after upgrading to Safari 4 beta. Now I did recently have to do a
complete reinstall of Leopard do to a problem I created, but it is
hard to say if this has anything to do with it.
