reboot, the device started writing properly again. I've seen it a few
times before, but not often. Before I thought it might have been the

I seem to have trouble copying the 2014-04-16 Alternat PPC image to USB
Stick. The 2014-04-14 image and earlier all seemed to work fine. But
the recent one quits after a few seconds with dd and the result is not
bootable.

In the test to install (auto-resize) in Lubuntu Desktop powerpc ubiquity
does not split and resize partitions when told to. The slider can be
moved back and forth but the button to continue stays greyed out.
It looks like one work-around is to first use Gparted before starting

suspend if "pm-suspend" is run manually and it will wake up just fine
when the lid is opened. But the actual suspend needs to be done

The latest apt-get update on trusty broke audio for Jitsi[1]. It until
yesterday it worked. I had been using pulseaudio. It seems to have
stopped after apt-get upgrade but won't work even after a new

I notice three things about xfburn.
1. It is not possible to launch a burn from the shell. For example the
following would not work to load the image:
xfburn trusty-desktop-amd64+mac.iso
It would launch xfburn but then the image would still have to be loaded
anyway.
2. Sometimes xfb
