The script from the forum post gives this for output: no layout-id child is ... /proc/device-tree/pci@f2000000/mac-io@17/i2s@10000/i2s-a@10000/sound device-id is ... No device id is given, how should that data be collected? lshw doesn't seem to list anything either.
