To all my wonderful helpers see the attached dvi. A note and a hebrew alef over it. I got it to work with the \unsethebrew in the mywrapper.lytex file. I had to make a new uncorrupted fromscratch.ly file, to make sure the lilypond source was clean. Then adding \unset hebrew did its trick. thnak

How did you specify it in the .ly file? Did you write \habalef, \\habalef, "\habalef" or "\\habalef"?
