To all my wonderful helpers see the attached dvi. A note and a hebrew alef over it.
I got it to work with the \unsethebrew in the mywrapper.lytex file. I had to make a new uncorrupted fromscratch.ly file, to make sure the lilypond source was clean. Then adding \unset hebrew did its trick. thnaks and now on to using real hebrew letters.
