Check the caller ID board pins. Remove it from the socket and inspect it for
pushed or bent pins. Make sure the pins aren't bent then reinstall it again and
try it.

Steve,
Total agreement here.
My post was to give those thinking this was a "dealers forum" a reality check. You may
or may not listen to your customers, but on this list your customers are listening to
you. We can all read between the lines.
The amount of angst voiced here is encouraging. La
Hi,
Did any played with those TVS-220's?
I was wondering what are the newest features, and obviusly the MOST

I'm asking this because I would like to replace my TVS-200 with one of the

John,
It can be used with TD500 Version 1 only , It can't be used with TD500
version 2.1 and up because version 2.1 and up used PC console .
Before using KXT96141 and Kxt96300 with version 1 you need to upgrade
eeprom on both . You can ask for upgrade from your local provider.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but in USA there was never an option to
use a console with the 500. The 500-1 software does not have an option to
program a card slot for the 96141 card. We don't even have an option to use
a PC console in the -2.

Ross,
you should be able to do that just by using the analog port of a digital
extension (xdp NOT turned on, so the analog is in parallel).
Once the pc is finished dialing, picking up the phone should cut right in
and take over the call. That's the way it works with my cordless I have in
parallel
Turn off XDP (N) prog 600 for that port.
Go to the analog port and dial 391 to turn parallel on.

Correct, the USA version does not have the option.
Evidently it is available in other countries.

Hi, Javier...
In the US, you first have to take a qualification test at home, and
submit it to Panasonic.
It's an open-book test, and it includes some absolutely ridiculous
questions. For example, you have list the frequencies generated by the
buttons on a touchtone pad, which has nothing to do
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to make two separate digital phones
act like one on a 1232-5? I have two phones in two different locations
in my office, and I would like them to both ring when someone dials my
extention, and have everyone see the same extention number no matter
which phone
Yeah RIGHT!
It'll never happen

Here are some suggestions
To make them ring from one number is easy-- but it won't be the ext. number
you now use.
You need to program a Phantom extension number, then assign a button for
that Phantom number on both phones. Now when someone dials that phantom
number both phones will ring. You ca

I bet if you checked with Joe Childs www.austintele.com he may. He's got

If your ext. happens to be (0) / 101 there is an option to allow two ext's ring
at once but ONLY if your ext. 0 / 101. If not then Charles has the next best
thing below.

Well if it means anything i've received a dozen emails back saying the Console
doesn't work with the TD500.
Thanks

I never took a qualification test? I did fill out the "application" at
work. I have no idea what the frequencies are on a keypad? They never asked
me? I do use a dtmf grabber when I have problems. The class I took was only
2 days and very inexpensive. The fees covered materials & lunch. I d
It was two days when I took the test in 1994 and cost $200. At that
time, the only VPS was the dreaded TVP150, and may have been briefly
mentioned. The course is now five days, and I think it costs $1000, and
I think two days are devoted to the VPSes.
