I find that the 624 only logs unanswered calls. If you answer, it doesn't
log. I do have the "common" area button only programmed. Have it in my own
house and it is poor at CID logging. I use a Radio Shack CID box to log all
the calls ... a $20 item hardwired before the K
Just looked it up for you in the manual.
On hook, set phone to program, 1,2,memory, program switch back to set.
to Cancel idle line preference, the code is 1,1,memory.

I was called to check out a 624 that was about one year old. The Line 1 to CO1
does not produce either a ring or lights on an incoming call. Outgoing is OK.
Line 2 works fine. When I moved Line 1 to CO3 location, it works fine.
Is this possibly a damaged CO1 input segment on the PCB? If so
me, it
works fine. They do NOT check for caller ID. The terminal will work on any
line.
