Thanks everyone for all your suggestions. The card and the door box were OK. Wires were more than adequate. The suggestion that worked and worked well was to cut the speaker wire and extend it just overhead to a 40 watt alarm speaker [8 ohms] available from any alarm supplier. Works great and customer is happy. No amplifier was needed though that would have been my next step. And with I95 on an overhead pass within 100 feet and a 4 lane road out front, it is a very noisy environment. So thanks again for all the suggestions. Bob Bruskin Halstead Electronics Ltd.
