I have a customer that just bought a house with a basic KX-TD308-3. It had no expansion cards. He ordered the Caller ID card and the 4 extension expansion card as he wants to use the four existing 7020's that came with it and three 7885's. He was very upset when I informed him that this unit only supports ONE door intercom.
I know on my 1232D-3, I was able to put two boxes parallel on door phone 1 and one on door phone 2 and they work fine...slight volume decrease on door phone 1. I tried paralleling two on the 308. It rang funny, wouldn't stop ringing when you pick up a phone until time out, and then wouldn't ring again. When I removed one box, it was fine. Has anyone found a work around for this so that TWO door intercoms can be used on the D308-3? Thanks for your help and ideas. Bob Bruskin Halstead Electronics Ltd.
