Luis,
I am flying the Revmaster, but I do not use a vacuum drive instrument. I do
have a Dynon D6. A good solution for sure. Like John mentioned, check for room
before you install, mine is tight but worked out.
Thanks,

Luis,
YouTube can also be a great resource on rebuilding a VW. I reviewed several
videos before I did my Revmaster rebuild and while there were some differences
between and Standard VW and the Rev, they were very helpful.

Larry,
Roger, I have the Dan Diehl tri-gear design legs and nose gear. KR2S length, VW
Revmaster engine and no major issues with CG. I keep my passenger weight
allowed to 200 lbs to ensure it stays in the CG range. My empty weight at 1st
flight was 600 pounds. I am still flying regularly.
Th
N1852Z KR2S with VW Revmaster Engine. From Final preflight weigh-in.
Nose Gear - 199
Right Gear - 202
Left Gear - 199
Total 600 lbs

Hi all,
Almost
Luis,
I do not have any spares, but I have gotten my D3000 serviced at a company
called Aircraft Accessories in Oklahoma. They did an IRAN (inspect and
repair as needed) for me. The mag is technically obsolete, but they still
can do an IRAN. If you get desperate and can't do it yourself, they migh
Mike,
I use the same type as for my wing gap covers, but yes it can take off some
paint if pressed in to hard. Certainly need it at Oshkosh to keep the rain out
of my KR for the week. I use it on the canopy frame at a couple spots where the
water has been know to leak in on the sides. I do have
N1852Z and pilot are still in Watertown WI waiting on weather to clear today.
Got to see a bunch of Wittman Tailwinds here. Had a few Spotted Cows last night
and talked aviation. Life is good regardless of weather delay.

Never felt in any danger really, visibility was good. Just too many Aircraft
for the ATC to handle. The mass arrivals got priority today, not the single
planes. ATIS still says 7:00 am.

Terry,
I plan to be there. I did invite a friend Clay Silsby to attend as well. Old
army buddy who used to live in Mankato.
Thanks,

Luis,
I bought mine directly from Revmaster. Price was reasonable as I recall. Joe
