Automake version 1.17 will land in rawhide in a short while.
Please be aware that a 18 packages that depend on automake fail to build
due to the version upgrade (they have a dependency on version 1.16). The
list of packages is available in the mass-prebuilder report below:

I haven't used it for many years, I haven't been able to get 4.2.0 to
build and I just don't have the time or inclination to work on it.

I'm using kerberos token most of the time, so I don't see this.
I saw reports about this happening, but it's hard to reproduce. After
first successful login it's usually doesn't happen on the following ones :-/
