I hate to bring the bad news, but this is (at least with the most recent
snapshot of Qt4.1) not solved. Still plugins built in debug mode cannot
be loaded with designer (from Qt4.1 built with -debug-and-release), in
fact the designer shows _no_ widgets at all.

Hello Hendrik, Andreas.

If this is the case I think removing tipptrainer from Debian is probably
the right step. Considering bugs won't be fixed and it is based on the
old GTK 1.x libraries.
Actually, this bug happend because the machine name in
/etc/apt/katie.conf was the service name, not the real machine name.
Cheers,
Andi

different version numbers. This means either
that they are also useless or that there is a chance to have a
difference

Well, I just tried to point at the problem at debian-edu and debian-junior
lists ...
Considering bugs won't be fixed and it is based on the
old GT
f bugs for the moment until a new
team might have formed?
3. Are there alternatives for this program which are actively maintained?
I would love to see tipptrainer revitalized.
Kind regards
Andreas.
