"Schliesst" looks like conforming to new orthography (btw that's your
string) but it isn't. "Schließt" is correct according to new and old
orthography.
Ah uh, oh - thanks you. I did not really looked because I've thought you
would talk about debconf template. I would never have written "schliesst"
and thus I thought somebody wanted to force me to write stupid German (I
guess you would agree with me that it would be really an argument against
Rechtschreibreform if "schliesst" would be valid ... ;-) ).
So I will definitely fix the upstream bug quite soon.
Don't worry about this. I noticed that really many people write bogusly
"schliesst", "gross", "ausser". All these are wrong!
