My LF38 has wire rope sheaves;
2 Jib and one Main, are identical
4 OD, ½ ID, 9/16 wide, with Oilite bushing.
Rope size is 7/16
There is a number 523318 stamped on them, in case that is a help. I googled
my brains out with that number, but came up empty.
Closest that I have found,
Was sailing last year from April 20th to Nov 4th. Nicer winds in the fall.
Have an Espar which was nice for October along with Merino layers.
Watch out for Lobster trap floats and leaders if you are sailing inside the
limit.

I am refitting my vessel (purchased last spring) and after a total rebuild
of the standing rig, and underwater, I am now launched and working on the
inside stuff.
In other words, I am safe to go sailing, but cannot cook, sleep or use the
bathroom.

I replaced the aluminum main and jib halyard sheaves 2 years ago on my LF38
As I changed from wire/rope to MLX dyneema I didn’t want the wire groove to
(maybe) damage the new ones.
They shipped new sheaves around in a week, and they fitted perfectly.

1. Buy a big jug of plumbers antifreeze. Pink stuff. Local Hardware

Removed all the rod and shipped it to South Shore yacht in Ontario.
They inspected everything and replaced backstay, uppers, all turnbuckle males,
and all tangs.
Reheaded the rest.

On my LF 38 (1984) the Depth Sounder throughull is located under the fwd V
Berth, just Aft of the water tank, Port side.
The knotmeter throughull is right next to it.
Its very tricky reaching in there, unless you have super skinny arms, twice the
normal length.

very skinny, flexible and have long arms and eyes on stalks.
