So,my aluminum halyard winches at the base of my mast is a regular candidate
for lubrication. None of the stainless drums require this...just the
aluminum.
Am I to understand then, that is not me and my lubrication methods but that
these aluminum drums are more prone to gunk build-up?

I need to replace our headlamps (the wearable kind) and there are so many
choices out there. Any happy customers who want to share?
I also have a older Signet masthead unit that can be had for shipping. Just
found it and it worked when it came off years ago.
Thanks in advance.

I'm a DIY guy. But some things are best left to the professionals. Aligning
an engine is one of them.
Get some high quality monkey wrenches and oppose.
If your spinning the whole unit your hose clamps may be loose or the wrong
type.
IMHO. Have a mechanic sort the whole thing out and you
are replaceable. It is certainly cheaper than a new pump. Jake Jake

Anybody know of a translucent adhesive based plastic sheeting that could adhere

Tim...I have that and want to add gates. With our (well at least mine anyway)

May still keep the aft pelican hook to keep flexibility though.
