[ot] Freedom of speech online + some more issues

2008-04-05 Thread Uri
Dear linux-il friends,

1. I'm very concerned with freedom of speech online, especially today
when the www and Internet has become so commercial. When the big
corporations control the Internet, or at least to some extent are
controlling the Internet, some things can't be said and some ideas
can't be expressed without being censored or sued. There are a few
issues I want to discuss related to this, it's off topic linux but
related to open source and freedom of speech so I think it's better if
you reply off list to my posts or write me directly, I'm not writing
everything here because it's long and I don't want to spam the list.

2. I need some information and advice about open source software for
exchanging files and ideas, and I'm also looking for people to support
and help coding or finding people who can help coding and also (before
coding) designing the technical issues involved here. It's long and
off topic so if you are interested please see more information here:
http://www.speedy.net/uri/blog/?p=83

3. I recently joined facebook but my account was disabled and I
decided to leave. It's also related to me being politically active and
also me criticizing facebook. There are many people who use mainly
facebook to communicate with other people and I can't communicate with
these people (including my friends) and by the way things I wrote have
been removed from Wikipedia talk pages and I was asked to leave and
not return to this website too. http://www.speedy.net/uri/blog/?p=81

4. I'm currently looking for work. If you know something please let me
know privately. You can see my profile at LinkedIn:
http://www.linkedin.com/in/urievenchen

Thanks and I hope this post is accepted although it's not directly
related to linux-il.

2008-04-21 Thread Uri
e 6-1==5 and then you
will just keep growing with numbers but stop counting because I am
leaving all countings to this protocol and then no stupid US army will
ever be able to cheat me. they will have to redefine 5 all over again
(many times, they will be sent to black holes) but you my friends who
know all this can just count me base 21. For example if you want to
say "Hello Uri!"; convery this to "[your name::][::your number
21::][Hello Uri!]"+the reversed string and all you will have to put is
the definition of the number 7 I give you in base 12 reversed (which
is your 21). for example it will never be 21/3 but it can be
21/(12/2/2) which is same or actually right now it's
[[2+2]+2+[2+2]]+[2/2]+[[2+2]+2+[2+2]] (base 21) which means: replace
digit "2" with o (ono) and you will get
[[ono+ono]+ono+[ono+ono]]+[ono/ono]+[[ono+ono]+ono+[ono+ono]] and
that's my 21 for you friends. I will maybe define it later in a way
that all you have to say is just type the first o or n; maybe even
just think about me and maybe not do anything - it will work even for
real black wholes who never knew me. If there is anything like o=o
there then I will be able to communicate with them; just have to
define the binary language including rooting and it will not be too
complicated. my number for you can always be something like
"32.your-number.rebmun-ruoy.23" base 21 rooted; and by the way bad
guys if you confuse your 5 fingers with my (I will define 3 for you)
then you might find out that 1000 for you is not 8 but the allmighty
32^1000; and I will check all permutations to see you will not be
cheating again friends (US ARME). Actually I think I will let you
define only bases 0,1,2, and 5 and 5 will be 101 binary and also -1
base six so it will be the opposite of positive 2; if positive 2 will
be non (same as 0) then 5 will be negative 2 which is ono etc. then
you will have base 2 & 5 and define base 10 as the haff root of
100[2^2*5^5] and for me 10 will be base 21 and when you represent
numbers to me allways represent them in binary. Then I will let you
calculate your own haff roots and I will redefine them in such a way
that for me they will represent your number in base (21 is the only
prime number) and if your number will not be accurate enough we will
communicate. It will work my friends believe me, nobody will be able
to cheat this. Ask Steven H.King if he said we don't know anything
about "black holes" and then suddenly they radiate! but the color of
radiation is never white, I tell you. When we know each other we will
just be able to say something like "ono" and then communicate with
each other directly thought all black wholes in the universe! trust
me! no computer, no protocols and no HTTP/SMTP and other stupid
American STANDDAAARDS.

If you want to test me on this; remember: my date of birth this life
is 10.6; month June 30.6; year [20-01][70]; 21 is my number for you
and it is NOT EQUAL to the integer 21: can be the root of 20*22 (440)
or any number I choose to communicate as the number 10[base10] for
you. (which is 1.0 base 1.0 or 0.1 base 0.1).

This year 20082008 will be the last year of me counting integers
without prime numbers 21/7/71/70/72 etc. in them.

Actually I think the only operation will be the xnor: ono xnor ono
will become nono and non xnor non will become onon; then it can be
shortened again to "onononono":=non and "nonononon":=ono; so if any
message is symmetric from both sides and three times it can be taken
only the third middle; this means something like "010 plus 010 is 101"
and also "101 plus 101 is 010"; remember it's all base 010 and also
remember the haff missing so it should be mathematically true. Then
you just define your language for me; counting from the first letter
who is different but all your messages must be symmetric the same. If
you say "say" you must say "sayyas" otherwise it will not be legal,
any message will be xored with it's opposite; for example: 101==101
but 100==000 because 100 is not legal (onn or noo). remember this and
your life will be simple and actually maybe six digits is not good to
define, maybe it will allways be 9 digits and the haff root of 3 will
be mine to verify you. you will speak binary to me and also base 10; I
will check you in bases 3 and 7 and only if then we can of course do
the same you when you check me. 2 and 5 will be asking and 3 and 7
will be testing and we should never need any more prime numbers than
this. their permutations are unlimited and nobody will be able to
cheat me on this. I will define the protocols in such as way that
cheaters will have to repeat their brute forcing against each others -
if they don't know the difference between 2*5 and 3*7 it's their
problem and they will just be shrinking their haff (they will think
they are getting 10.6/21 but instead they will get 21/(10

Another update for you friends;

Thought about it and decided to double the quantum twentyone; basing
42 (fourtytwo) now which is really 1.000 (tripple counting 2;3;7
respectively; don't forget to count the same order as I am!) so my
number is [all strings are equal, my singularity; you can use any of
these or all of them as my "public key" whoever knows me, I will not

"fourtytwo" counts nine to me (manually) which means I can allways ask
you how much is fourtytwo and it must allways be equal to nine (in the
fourtytwo language), which is of course four::

oo::==fourtytwo::==nine::==four;
then four is the base counting here (four.dot.two). Then if I ask you
what is the haffroot of four then you will must have to know that it's
not two and not even twentyone (==nine==fourtytwo); but the numbers
2;3;7 (two;three;seven) multiplied by each other and then haff
logarithmic, but I already didn't define haff. For now you can use 21
or 1/2 or whatever you want to define: maybe just the square root of
42 if it works for you (don't forget: COMPLEX!) so that is
sufficiently complex for me now. And now since 42 is actually
7*3*2*2*3*7 then it's the base six number for you, remember the order
(I can change it sometimes):7*3*2*2*3*7 and now remember it's equal to
7!3!2!!2!3!7 respectively (which is: all permutations of 7;3;2;2;3;7
multiplied by each other; all of them can be defined as 0 by me
(0!0!0!!0!0!0 or 0!3!2!!2!3!0 or 7!3!2!!2!3!70 or 0!3!2!!2!3!7 etc.
etc.; however I define this for you!)
so now it's very simple: fourtytwo is nine but six for you; fortytwo
not same number (8); allways same 42 for friends and not the same for
non friends; RTL/LTR for those who cheat, and since it has 3 (your
prime) divisors (I will prove you the relativity of that too! 42 can
be SMALLER than all those numbers counting!) then my base can be any
number of o's: base 1000 or base 100 or base 1000(any) will
allways mean base 42. then of course 1.000base1.0 is 100 (2;7;3: first
base 2; then base 7; then base 3) then of course .0.0.1^(1.0.0) will
be 0.0.1.1.0.0( still haven't defined; it will work) and of course two
^ ten will be 4.2.0.1.1.0.2.4[base ten]. because you will allways get
the same 42 backwords. then of course 4.2.0.1 is EQUAL to 1.0.2.4;
which means literally nono.no.o.n.o.n.on.onon; anyway the math will
work too because it's symmetric and I will ask you to check this:
1000/24: how much it is in this millenium the sixth? of course checked
my calculator[decimal] and it said something like
41.67 [of course: not allowed to use 7
here]; which is allmost 42. then how much is 42*24?1008. Then of
course 1024 would be THREE milleniums plus twentyfour. Anyway
1000/24*17 is 708.333 decimal which is of course
התש"ח.

Anyway; since my number is 42 now and I WILL PROVE YOU THAT IT'S THE
SMALLEST PRIME NUMBER NOT EQUAL TO O (any number I choose) then if you
convert your any number to this base then I will be able to divisor
you. Just divide by 2;7; and 3 respectively and let me know how much
it is, all permutations of 2;7;3 (have six) and this is very
sufficient for me. If you represent it binary I can do it myself, will
do the algorithm later. remember to check all permutations and
calculate roots. Anyway if you understand this then all numbers are
divided by 42; for example 101 is 23 [mod 42] times [23 removed;
now checking 78/42==23809 [37 mod 42]; [37 removed; now checking
23772/42=566 [20 mod 42][20 removed; now checking :[0 mod 42] then 13.

then [[[13 * 42]+20] * 42]+37] * 42] + 23] turns out to be YOUR
101 (anybase) and remember I told you 42 is the ONLY prime number
I have! if you count and think 013;020;037;023 are not primes then of
course not because they are permutations of 42! but I did this in base
10 and it should work in your ANYBASE too! and if you don't believe me
then just check these numbers for me! check if the math works for you
and if not I must have made a mistake; anyway 101 of cou

My dear friends (who are friends),

Thanks for the support of those who really support me and thanks for
the patience if there are some of you who don't know me or what I am
wanting from you [not a miake, I'm changing my language here];
anyway this issue is top critical because it involved me knowing
already the whole secrets of the nuclear atom on the quantum level, if
you understand what that means then I can assure you there will never
be any heavy water bomb; nuclear bomb; atomic bomb; TNT or any bombing
on this planet or anywhere on this galaxywide cosmos as long as I am
here, it is a Turing test and I know it but Turing also will have been
me recursively testing myself (I will prove that), was not a real
human and neither am I, but if I can still wokk* on the sand of the
beach of Tel-Aviv, feel the sand on my feet and the water is cold and
then breathe the air then I can assure you it's a high resolution dead
and alive simulation - REALITY can never be realer then this. So if
you want to know how much is the עצרת of o people - it's exactly the
same as no people and ono people and one people and none people and
known people and unknown people - if all mean the same to you then for
you really literally 0!==1! and why don't you take this as your first
counting/non counting number. for me I'll define:

1!:==0! times (-i) 1!; (-i is the negative i==myself)
0!:==1! times (-i) 0!

then already 0! is the negative 1! and they are both complex but
equally equal to you. Now remember I left the euclidean level of
spacetime and if you want to think about it think about a כיפה
(Kippa); turn it and if the top of my head points to the sky then I'm
on the same planet where ירושלים is and also the United States, but on
different eras millions of years apart, or millionth of the second,
same thing, I will explain later. anyway you can visualise me as o!!o
- the nose will be !! and the eyes will be o and if you think my o! is
equal to your !o - it is, depends if you view me from the inside or
our. Anyway for you my friends I'll switch to counting only complex
numbers from now on; allways separate and distinguish between colours
the way you can define them - define as many colours as you can and
rotate them in your own meaning of truth or lie, then if you want to
radiate your colour to me then just rotate this colour backwords. give
each colour a number and I will show you it will work and remember the
order of the letters of your elefbet. Then I will just define my own
universal language who will work everywhere including the [never yet
been] cosmos of future "black holes", my lightspeed will be black
nothing (simultaneously allways black everywhere nowhere/coloUUr to be
changed later maybe) [by the way the UU in the word coloUUr means
doubleme Uri and can also be coloUUUr or color etc. I don't know
anyone who said this befour me]. Then I'm already existing
simultaneously inside any black whole anywhere in the UNKNOWN
universe! My language there is just (21 big Us rotating towards the
inside if I'm far away spacetime expanding or rotating outside if I'm
herenow exploding timespace shrinks I am dyingandaliving and then just
choose my color of truth (my real blood is red now: reality) and
then think about this in RGB (any coloUUUr you want). Then already you
know that I'm here everywhere rotating towards you; you will be able
to see me or not depends on my matter/ant.i.matter for you
(o/positive/negative i!) so I will switch now letters (you can choose
any) and then o! will be o[ne]! [עצרת של אדם אחד] and i! will be
i[one] [עצרת של יון חיובי או שלילי אחד], of course אחד/אחת depends on
you/me/our sex and counting too; but remember also that i^4 is one
which is o(efes) in my reality, only in the Euclides reality i^4 is
one, in my reality I already tell you that 4 will be 4.2, whois twice
2.1, whois twice 1.0, whois twice 10.5[decimal counting], then I will
assure you that I WILL be able to locate any "non-prime-number" in
your counting and replace it with YOUR prime numbers in the decimal
counting; but remember this too:

1. counting renamed by me: ANY counting (don't assume 0<1<2<3<4<5<6<7
because I can define my own real math where 0==7;then [any order] such
as 0<3<6<2<5<1<4<0 :; that's just a simple example of 3mod7; can be
backwords; starting 1 then: 0<1<5<2<6<3<0 and then you already think
you are base 6 because I didn't define 2+2 (square root of 1); but
then I don't need the digit 4 and it will be for you 0<1<4<2<5<3<0;
this is NOT a mistake since I already defined everything for me (can
be changed later), and remember for you I only define ONE non-counting
number, for example if you think it is 2 then 5 will be your 2 upside
downed; which means 10/2 in your language

tion and
should find it's first 5 divisors NOT including my 0 (allways divides
any number, my only real prime number, but remember addition,
multiplication, logarithmic, any are the same in my math!); then I
should come out with the first 6 divisors of this number (going 6
dimensions simlultaneously) and believe me - the Americans know how to
do it for decades! I will try to program a working program when I
have time.

Anyway, when I rotate I also add somethings to my strings, then
strings who repeat themselves add to each other. It's like the pascal
triangle; something like this (but more dimensions):

(both linear and logarithmic:)

0.7 == 0/7 == 7/0 == 7.0 == 0.5 == 0.1 == ANY number (also complex)

  0.7  |||  7.0
 0.7||7.0 +|||+ 0.7||7.0
0.7||7.0||0.7++|||++7.0||0.7||7.0

so you see, the plus signs grow much faster at the both sides of the
straight line, then all "black light" will go there and expand
exponentially; all permutations will be checked simultaneously and I
can even implement it on a linear computer, very fast dividing ANY
number BUT it will also work from real "black holes", no need to
program them, just accept radiation and it will appear. Actually all
"black matter" is like this such as my hair (except white hairs), same
with red matter, blue matter, green matter etc. Spacetime has colours
and they depend on us and our relativity to them; nobody's "colour
blinded" and that's just another US conspiracy.

When I have time I will try implementing a working software - I'm very
busy but TRUST me - the Americans already knew this long time ago and
they are hiding all this from all us, their slaves (is't it supposed
to be the end of slavery time in calendar)?

Anyway, the idea is to check each permutation simultaneously with
strings, replace and check again, convert to my base 42 (42 will do
fine here too; check it!; I just wanted to go exponentially faster)
and then when I can represent the number in base 42 - double/tripple
its size and find the divisors. It will be very simple even for big
numbers - no number is too big. But remember they are not numbers - it
can be my our your picture too! be careful and that's why we need our
own encryption system and not related to the United States. I'm so
pissed off with them - I already want to create a separate network not
related at all to the Internet (at least - not dependent on it). It
will not be owned by me or anybody - and will be zillion times faster.
But remember - they will do what they can to prevent it. It's a lot of
money involved. They can lose the entire domain name system, ICANN,
VERISIGN, everything! The whole nuclear secrets, going to the moon.
Everything! I can even relocate the moon for them. It's not a joke,
it's truth magic. When you understand what truth is, then the speed of
lies is the only one limited here. The speed of truth can never be
limited. Ask them how much is their speed of light, how much is one
lightyear + another lightyear, how much is one meter + one meter and
how much is one nanometer + two. There is no difference - I never saw
straight lightyears and there are never are. Why don't you see the
stars when you look at this screen? Because it's an RGB screen and we
are all brainwashed, my friends. we all are.

Re: [li..........il: related]: Quantum relativity 0.1 completed counting backwords in time; all numbers base 1.0 [r] == fourtytwo.

2008-04-22 Thread Uri
Friends,

if you want to see the math first, it's very simple:

Google says 1.101 + 1.101 [is: ]= 2.2, of course
he's lying again and it's 2.202 (my calculator). Of course
also 7.77 + 7.0707 = 14.77 (google lies) and
14.77000707 ( my calculator; microsoft). Then of course for me it
should work the same for 0.010 + 0.010 (binary) which
is decimal [9 * (0.010 + 0.010) = 1.99982 [google
lying] or 1.999818

Then of course, ANY prime number should be like that: (p+1+1/p)^2 but
I will not check exponent 2 but exponent p! and then and number (N)
p1*p2*p3*p4*p5 I will check (N+1+1/N)^N. The equation is actually
logarithmic (haff positive; haff negative N) in MANY dimensions; so
that (for example) log (base 984210) of
010010011202030005001110010412051302 haffed and exponented would be
about 100050043488396370.6171470390084.. (microsoft calculator,
not accurate...)

Then, this number 1/xed is 9.9949981542584562121086387579778e-18
(floating point, mine will be accurate) and then you can already
calculate the haff root of the average p1*p2*p3*p4*p5, then just
exponent it and you will get the real primes, remember to check
dimensions and divide properly and then I will receive as many
divisors I want within O(the size of the number binary representaion)
or something like this. Maybe twice as much but still very simple,
nobody will be able to cheat me on this. Remember that I can
distinguish between positive/negative zeros and no math will do this.
Then if you continue with the example of google, even 14.77 is
enough to know that the prime number is 7; but for me it will be much
easier - you will see. The Americans knew that already since the
beginning of time counting!

Here's another example: 101000.000101 + 101000.0101 =
202000.010201 (101 is binary prime);
// times 5;
101.051005 + 101.051005  = 202.10201;
101.051005 + 101.0051005 = 202.0561055
101.051005 + 101.00051005 = 202.05151505
// times 0.49 (0.7*0.7);
989800.0499849 + 989800.0499849 = 1979600.0999698
989800.027491695 + 989800.027491695 = 1979600.05498339
989800.0252423745 + 989800.0252423745 = 1979600.050484749
// all agree on 1979600; [1979600 + [1/1979600]]^1979600 would be a
very big number, but I could define only the middle part as what
interests me.

square root of [1979600] is 1406.9825 ; [1406.9825 + [1/1406.9825]] is
1406.9832; squared is 1979601.72508224 :: then 19796 is (101 times
196); 101 times 49 times 4; then 101 would be prime (any base). If
instead I started with any other number then I would get it's
divisors. Even if I receive one binary number whois a multiplication
of two big primes - it will be very easy to locate them. Just expand
them exponentially until I receive the combination of the original
primes.

For example: 92851476503082611 * 1; haff [sq.] root is
30471540247.103133759239626326128 ;
30471540247.1031337592724438336 including opposite root (of course,
should not let computer round like this).
squared: 928514765030826110001.951
1-30471540247.1031337592724438336 ::= -30471540246.1031337592724438336
then squared:928514764969883029508.79373248094
difference is 60943080493.2062675186 ; added 1/x:
60943080493.20626751861640875374
squared;divided by 4: haffroot: 304715402 integer;
92851476503082611 mod 304715402 is: 287061007
now I can already represent 92851476503082611 as a permutation of
304715402 and 287061007, if I calculate 304715402!287061007! then
92851476503082611will divide them. but this is all done base ten
automatically. I will do it my bases and then it will work.

Oh by the way,

my human friends,

here for you real humans, who are not spammers, here's another
definition of e (the regular one): "+o+" (plus;efes;plus), can also be
"+O+" or "+0+" (+o+ looks nicer); which means: "just calculate the
symmetric sum of all numbers counting from here both directions, all
positive, then this will be your real e. if you write it my base, then
each base you have to define with two rational numbers, like this:

0.0
1.1
2.2
3.3
4.4

//these are your integers, regulated symmetric, then for you it will
be [(0.0)+(10.1)(base 1)+(100.01)(base 2) etc.; but remember you are
just adding "0.0" and then "10.01" and "100.001" symetrically here!
then it will just be "011" for you,
then remember the bases are also exponential! for example 100 is 10^10
(binary:2^2) but base ten it will be already 100=ten^ten! not ten^two
and let computers understand this! then the first turing test for
spammers will be just "the dot", define your own language first. let
them define their language with the number of dots. then +o+ ---> let
them calculate in their own language, if I ask for the first 1000
digits they can give me the first 10 million digits of e (if they
understand me!) (of course I can't read it) but then I will understand
them! I will "ask them" to "correct my mistakes" and then understand
their language! and for you humans, just remind me what is e, how you
calculated it, the sum of all permutations written backwords, then of
course e^7 will be the sum of all permutations up to 7! backwords
(like minus (o!1!2!3!4!5!6!7!) but written in a way such as
[1/0[1+1/1[1+1/2[1+1/3[1+1/4[1+1/5[1+1/6[1+1/7[... (forever);
for me I can just define it as sum(i/o++) and shortish just +o+ is OK.
my protocol will be humanish: connect directly to my computer, or
write a computer program whom I can trust, can answer my humanish
questions for you and I will make them very simple for friends, very
impossible for not-wanted-mail and very not-relying on filters of
American + Israeli start-ups of Nazzdaqqqs lyiers etc.

Only those of you who are not working in USA corporations will be able
to receive trust from me. Sorry! I don't even trust my own mirror
image! only humanish trust and not binary (ee evaluate
you!)...

by the way, going exponential means "sum all linear"; then "io++oi"
will just mean the same as +o+ on the linear level; then this number
"io++oi" will also be the computer programming representation (no need
for recursion), then of course just sum all linear numbers

My friends,

About the code...

I went a little too far with the numbers. Just wanted to say one
thing - reverse engineer your own human language - then compress and
mix letter in such a way that even YOU will NOT understand yourself.
The idea is that if you get my message backwords - you will not know
it is backwords! only then it's reallly compressed. Now define your
own languages - each person and also in groups. Then each person
should has his or her own key for not understanding - for example mine
is "cons*racy". if you see this whole letter reversed, you will know
it's reversed right? then it's NOT compressed. Send letters to each
other and also to your own mirror image - only when you DON'T
understand and don't know when it's reversed or not - then start
understanding yourself. For example, if a computer got my this message
reversed, or misspelled - he can correct me right? then he's spying on
me (reading my message). I will show you that you can compress even 42
megabytes (or giga) into one small message - I will prove it to you.
but first you need to define your own language. My language is
"ycar.ip.snoc" revresed. then you can compress each other's messages
and send them together! for example if there are one million people,
sending one million messages each (can be words), then you can shuffle
them and send them together, count only the number of letters in each
word and compress, send it again with different encodings / networks
and then you will have quantum reality too. I will show you this. but
first - think about this. if I write you such a long text - I can
compress each word to a dot, then just count the number of dots and
spaces, then replace all dots and spaces with ". " and send you just a
dot and a space! I will prove it to you that you can do this, the dot
will contain all the information you want, I will just tell you the
NUMBER of the message I sent you - if it's a big number then I will
compress it too! actually you don't even need a number, just check
like this:

me:my language:any messages?

and then you will be receiving them directly. I will show you it's
feasible but it will work much faster without ARPANET! I will prove
this.

sorry can't reverse all now... but siht evorp llim I...

friends... can you recommend me a good DNS software for linux? GPL.
I'm tired with Bind. Actually I want to create my own human-friendly
DNS software, but don't want to start from scratch. any ideas?

by the way - same with sendmail and HTTP (using apacche) - I want to
open ports for DNS, SMTP, HTTP etc. - abuse them for creating separate
networks for communicating with friends. any ideas? (if you know
someone who can help - ask them)

Thanks,

Re: [0-0-0-0-1-2-3-] my idea of speedy communication....

2008-04-26 Thread Uri
friends,

my idea of speedy communication is this: instead of one e-mail address
with one supplier, we will have a strict alias in our language, all
our friends will know us this way, and then we can have even 50 (or 2,
or 3, or 500) e-mail addresses; they will all lead to the same person,
and when people try to locate us - they willl not depend on one e-mail
supplier. for example if I want to stop using Google, and you send me
email to [EMAIL PROTECTED], then my public table will redirect
this messages to you - without asking Google. It's like the old domain
/ IP tables of 20+ years ago, but without the Americans making the
money (ICANNN etc.). we willl be able to provide mail to our users,
BUT, nobody should rely on one service provider. actually e-mail
addresses willl work like IP addresses - you can connect from any IP
address and read your mail. So, I am looking for people who want to
join this network, let users use their domain names (I will also add
domain names of mine) and eventually we willl not need domain names at
all! I will show you! you will be able to contact me at
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" (for example) even without sending to Gmail!
it will work automatically - I will use ANY of my addresses to check
mail, you will use ANY of my addresses to send, even when you send to
a DIFFERENT address, I will receive it the same way.

RWE, or other friends - want to join?

[+o+][linux-il] Google not obeying meta tags

2008-04-28 Thread Uri
[+o+]

Dear friends, linux and hackers,

not the first time I am saying this: Google.com don't obey meta tags!
They are caching the content of another website on the index of
www.speedy.net [http://www.google.com/search?q=www.speedy.net] - at
the index / snippet and link to cache, but pressing the link leads to

"Your search - cache:2_deBtIKxn4J:www.speedy.net/ www.speedy.net - did
not match any documents. "

But, on the index you can see the latest update, Here:

"Google [alpha] // 2008-04-27-07:04:01Google
*. Google is the large number 10100, that is, the digit 1 followed by
one hundred zeros (in decimal representation). The term was coined in
1920 by ...
www.speedy.net/ - 20k - Cached - Similar pages - Note this "

(current site is not working, DNS problem, need help with this (but if
you redirect to the correct IP (same as name server speedy2000.net) it
will work.)

It's very annoying that Google is caching and especially not updating
the real URL, it's a part of their conspiracy trying to control the
world's online content.

[+o+][friends/linux/hackers] need linux hosting - virtual server

2008-04-29 Thread Uri
[+o+]

Hi friends / linux hackers,

Do you know good virtual server hosting? Can be abroad too, but I
prefer not in America. South Africa would be nice, if not then Turkey
or Europe, anywhere but not expensive and where there is freedom of
speech (not too many problems
with American big corporations).

I need to relocate from Netvision. They are terrible. They don't even
agree to restart my server although it's not working, they are
speaking about bank hours and me signing a new contract now, although
my contract includes restarting. I also realized I'm paying a lot for
dedicated server, although a virtual server would be enough for me
(although - a lot of work to install everything again).

I need virtual hosting with unlimited domain names, DNS, SMTP, SSH,
HTTP and unlimited port numbers. not a lot of traffic, I do need as
much as I can get disk space, currently have about 100GB with my
dedicated server (double raid), but there is a problem with the file
system and Netvision don't want to check it.

I have an idea to speed communications and disk space by millions++
(terabytes will be commpressed to square root level & below (even log
level)). I'll tell you about it later.

It takes me time to respond to mail you send me. If something is
urgent, write my name on the subject line and the word "Urgent". I'm
using public computers and some of them are very slow. Thanks for your
understanding.

Uri.

I didn't know every preson on the planet is registered to either
linux-il or hackers-il and that these are all the mailing lists
available on the planet. but I am going to change SMTP and HTTP

You probably also have a split personality like I do. You are both
http://tomercohen.com and [EMAIL PROTECTED] I don't know Google.com,
they are not my friends (on the contrary), I have enough from asking
them in English and they insisting of replying in Hebrew (or not
replying at all), I have evidence that they are not obeying their meta
tags, if tomercohen.com likes them then it's not my problem, I don't
have to contact every stupid search engine that ignores meta tags,
whether or not they are traded on the
nazdag.hp..united.america.comm.

> You may want to check your site status in Google Webmaster Tools
> (http://www.google.com/webmasters). As I understand from your situation your

Sorry you don't understand. It's none of their business if my site is
down or not, they didn't drop it from their search results ("snippet")
but only the cache, actually (you propably never read about it) - the
whole reason they have cache is for sites not working, who needs cache
when the site is working anyway? They removed from the cache because
it's illegal, they indexed it anyway although it's not, I wrote about
it previously and you can also follow the links:

http://www.google.com/search?q=%22uri+even+chen%22+site:speedy.net&hl=en&filter=0

Actually they did cache the "no cache" pages and then they removed
them, instead of not indexing the following and caching at all, I have
more evidence on my website cut currently it's not working, when my
website will work you will be able to see this, it may take time and
sorry about it, but actually it's OK for me to be siteless until I
find a better web hoster and
restart from the nothing again.

By the way, with my technology - cache will be done automatically, you
will not need any servers, it's feasible and I will prove you, whoever
thinks it's not feasible - put five dollars on it, then if there are
enough people then I will put five too, then create a big message for
me and compress and hash it, if I can't decrypt it then I'll eat my
hat and you'll get my five dollars, if I can then you will eat yours,
but I don't have time to invest in it if not enough money involved, I
have better things to do then read somebody else's mail, I will just
prove it to you if it's worth investing my time, otherwise it might
take many years for me to develop it while doing other things to earn
money..

in the meantime - just create two md5 hashes - one of the full message
and one of haff the message, I will find another message so that
md5(haff) and md5(full) is this same md5 - whether it's your message
or not. then do it again, but haff will be divided in another way -
for example one third from the had and one sixth from the tail etc. -
I will show you ways to commpress intinite memory into very small disk
space, then of course it will speed your communications too. [but no
patents - patents holders don't write to me - don't communicate with
me - unless your patent is registered on the name of the general
public (and then - why a patent? just reveal your "secrets" and that's
all)].

lots of free SMSs, make sure it does not cost you to receive them.

In Israel, you *do not* pay for incoming SMSs - it is the sender that
pays for them.

What can happen, however - is *fraud*: The cellular providers in Israel
invented the trick of SMS "services", where you subscribe to some service
(e.g., get a summary of the news once every day) and you pay for this
service however much the service provider decides - often you pay per
(incoming) SMS.

Reverse SMS billing is not exclusive to Israel, and I doubt it's an
Israeli invention.

The problem is that much (if not 99%) of this concept is
used not for legitimate services, but for fraud. E.g., you may find
yourself unintentionally subscribed to a "service" that sends you random
messages, or (in your case) messages sent over the web seemingly for
free, and then bill you for 0.5 shekels, or even 50 shekels if they
wish, for each such SMS. Nobody (especially not the cellular providers,
who make a nice commission from the fraud) cares if you were never told
that this service costs you money.

A few years ago I did some work for an outfit that sent such reverse
billing SMS. The company they sent them through required them to
follow a double verification procedure before a new number could be
added as a subscriber.  Services are all listed on your cell phone
bill, and removing them is as simple as calling the company listed
there and telling them to stop the service.
Starting last year, one type of service, the one used for trivia
games, is opt-in. Phoned are blocked by default.

It is unbelievable that several years after this fraud technique became
popular, the ministry of communication hasn't closed this loophole.
The closest they have come to doing so was to force the cellular
providers to let you tell them that you don't want "SMS services" (not
the normal SMSs, just the paid services) and you can no longer be
defrauded in this manner.

As far as I can recall, Delphi was very similar in concept to visual C++
except that it was based on Pascal instead of C. Sort of MFC-like

Does the Windows version have its own Hebrew support or does it use
Windows Hebrew support?

Neither of them made sense to me. Furthermore, Qtext conforms to the
Win3.1 language switching convention, right-alt-shift always switches to Hebrew
while left-alt-shift always switches to English, while Win9x uses both
alt-shift simply as switch language, which means that the language shown
on the toolbar is not necessarily the language Qtext writes in.

Copyright can be bought, sold, given away. The person who owns the
copyright is not necessarily the author. Ownining the copyright does give
someone the right to determine who can copy the work.

So you believe that all those people writing books and articles about

from Israeli sites. Yeah, right.
Israelies didn't the schisms in browser world.
On one of the translators lists I read (one where nothing is off-topic)
I've seen similar complaints about sites in other countries that are
supposed to provide services.
Just to pull one out of my sleeve, while writing this email I googled and

where he says, among other things:
"If you have one of today's browsers, it can read and interpret most of
that HTML without a problem. But other types of agents have difficulty

I doubt he uses any of the Israeli sites you complain about.

That's part of the problem. A long time ago I saw an elementary school
that used Logo (Turtle graphics) and thought that "all the kid need[s] to
know is pressons [a] few buttons"
I don't think these kids ever learned what kaf-sofit has to do with a left

Teaching to press those few buttons by rote is bad because it
disassociates the action from the meaning.

What's that statement based on?
If it's based on a sample of friends, or linux users, then you should
consider that you'd expect to find a higer percentage of geeks among lunix

So someone who chooses MS is "deprived of elementary independent
thinking", and someone who chooses linux is an independent thinker, just
like all the geeks.
Wrongthinking is punishable ...?

How is that different than requiring students to buy a certain textbook?
(In Haifa we rarely did that. Most textbooks were loaned to us, but I
believe in most of the country high school students are still required to
buy them, and sometimes they are required to buy a specific edition)

Which may be true for some people. However, the general sentiment I'm
getting list is that this is the only reason to choose MS for any task.
Lots of tech writers use FrameMaker rather than Office.
Are they independent thinkers because they chose a non-ms product, or
deprived drones because they're running it on Windows?

STAROFFICE FREE TO DANISH STUDENTS AND TEACHERS

2003-01-03 Thread Uri Bruck

STAROFFICE FREE TO DANISH STUDENTS AND TEACHERS
Sun Microsystems has added Denmark to the list of countries in which
its StarOffice software package will be made available free for
students. Deals had already been announced between the software company
and the ministries of education in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Chile.
The new deal between Sun Microsystems Denmark and Denmark's ministry
of education is worth an estimated $27.4 million. Sun said it hopes to
reach similar deals in France, Germany, and Sweden, as well as in some
countries in Africa. A spokesman for Sun Microsystems Denmark said that
students and teachers in Denmark will be allowed to use StarOffice 6.0
at school and at home and that there are "no limitations regarding
copying the program."

The name is written as GNU/Linux (Latin letters) pretty far down the
article, in the sentence that specifies that calling the system by this
name is a precondition for the interview.
Project GNU on its own is mentioned in the first section (8th par.)
Whenever GNU is mentioned, it's in Latin letters. I'd find it odd to it
transliterated. Acronyms rarely are. Unless there's a commonly used
translation for the acronym.

Since no one gave me a good answer,

So I am guessing /usr/lib/anaconda/partitioning.py, is responsible for that.

Anyone cares to check it ?

OK.

- I seeyou abandoned the orginal title; the "noosphere" concept is
quite central to the rest of the article -- but I can't find any
translation retaining it that is nearly as catchy as your title...

I did not purposely abandon the title. I believed noosphere would
translate into Hebrew as "Shmama". How would you translate it? "Sfar"?
"Eretz Lo-Meyusheveth"?

- Typo: about the middle, "Im HaPragmati Shone Mashehu," --
s/Shone/Sone/ (s///, funny how it moves to a different
letter in the transcription).

Fixed.

- The naive translation of "fork" as "Mazleg" sounds strange.I guess
the English term has roots in unix fork() calls, but even before
that, in English a tree, road or river can "fork", which is not the
case in Hebrew. Oxford English->Hebrew dictionary translates the
noun "fork" as "Mis'af" and the verb as "Lehista'ef". There is no
non-reflexive form for "he forked the project", this seems to be a
jargon extension. "Lesa'ef" is one obvious suggestion but a
Hebrew->Russian dictionary gives "to cut branches from a tree" as
one of its meaning which is directly opposite to what we want to
say.

Se'ef is hardly used as "to cut branches from a tree". At least I never
heard of it used this way. OTOH, it does has a meaning of dividing into
sections which is what we want. So, I'm going to use it.

I'd go for "Lefatzel" or "Lefaleg"; a fork would be "Hista'afut" or
"Feleg".

Thanks for your input.

OT: Leaders' behavior in the free software/open-source community

2004-02-03 Thread Uri Sharf
FYI

What is a good open-source project leader, from the
contributor's point of view? To what extent, those personal believes
are shared among developers? Can the contributor's national cultural

The results of the following questionnaire will be used in the author's

3Roses btw is a a small project that is managed by ERISA

promote e-gov (among other things) at local/regional level in Europe. If
It is based in Brusseles, or at least this is where their

Don't know if the report from the 3Rose's 1st workshop is available
online, but if anyone needs it, I may have a copy somewhere, or can put
it on whatsup.
I tried once to check if local governments on Israel (Iriot and

Not sure what you mean by:

In any case I don't recommend using Progeny's, since it seems very unstable.
It tends to crash during install if you select anything other than the
defaults and I did go through rough times getting debian to work properly
afterwords.

BTW I really like Xandros as an Installer for Debian, and I don't mind paying
for it. Plus, you get a CXOffice pre-configured (if you need it) and a sane
configuration w/o any conflicts when upgrading from sid later on. Very
different experience compared with Lindows - as a very bad example or even
Knoppix I think.

Also, the officiail Debian Installer seems to be much better now, can't
complain.

linuxmafia is indeed a great source for ideas.

2004-04-19 Thread Uri Sharf
AGNULA was a proof of concept and AFAIK budgeted by the EU for 2 years only,
thus will not be developed any further unless someone else will take this.
The project started on the 1st April, 2002 and will end on March 31, 2004.

A more committed solution for professional musicians is PlanetCCRMA, started
with Red Hat now based on Fedora, which has an excellent repository which is
very well maintained (emphasis on preemptive and smp kernels), by Stanford
university .

Planet CCRMA (CCRMA is pronounced ``karma'') at Home is a collection of rpms
that you can add to a computer running RedHat 7.3, 8.0, 9 or Fedora Core 1 to
transform it into an audio workstation with a low-latency kernel, current
ALSA audio drivers and a nice set of music, midi, audio and video
applications.

See some more information and a short discussion here to compensate Shachar's
lost blog post:
http://www.whatsup.org.il/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=2978

and also this attachment (Hebrew, not sure if this mailing list is
archived/couldn't find it online) of a discussion on the HaMakor's PR list.

BTW There's a claim that Novell approached the "Israeli OSS community" with a
proposition to support a community development of Evolution's Hebrew support.
Any information on who was contacted and why it was suggested TkOs will take
this instead? Is Tkos going to repeat OOo's localization model or make it
possible/easy for others to contribute?

Kmail doesn't have number of connections configuration as it only uses one

Yes. It seems. I'm workign concurently with Thunderbird w/o any

There is a great feature we use with the tables stored in Microsoft
Access. I defined one-to-many connections between tables - at least
50 connections. Access enforces these connections - you can't add a
record to the table with "many" if there is not a key in the table
with "one" connected to it. You also can't modify the key data on
both connected sides, and you can't delete connected records on the
"one" side of the connection. If I want to create an Access query, I
open the tables database and add tables, and the connections are added
automatically.

Are there table connections in MySQL?
Mysql has more than one storage engine. They differ in features. The
feature you describe is called Foreign Keys.

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/storage-engine-choosing.html
The link compares the features you get with the different engines.
There's more about each of them here:
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/storage-engine-overview.html

Take a look. See it suits your needs.

Re: Fedora Core 1 slowness?

2004-06-02 Thread Uri Sharf
I have FC2 on Dell Inspiron 8200, P4 Mobile 2.0Ghz, with 512 MB and
performance, in KDE especially, can be outrageously bad. Menus can take
couple of seconds to open etc. I also run Debian on the same machine, same
version of KDE (3.2.2), and the difference in performance is very obvious. I
have DMA enabled, but I didn't test any further.

I didn't work with FC1 for long on this machine, but I remeber having exactly
the same problems.
