Not that it helps right now, but there are usually very good deals to be had on wool stuff come spring. If you plan ahead, you can stock up on base layers for pretty cheap. Ibex also occasionally has good sales too. $60 *is* a lot for a t-shirt, but if you can keep the moths out, they will last a long time.
