Like said in the original bug report and in comment #1?

What is not that clear so far, it seems, is that the internal XML does not 
contain only annotations, but also various data (even "confidentail"), like 
values of form fields, the URL of the document, the last 10 steps in the 
vieweing history, etc.
And tracking two different internal files is not something that makes things 
easier.

Do I have to comment, or you can understand yourself that PDF readers and 
writers do not grow on the trees overnight?

And I would expect (not completely, but still a bit) people to *read* the 
previous 30+ comments in this bug report, before commenting. Oh, and I would 
also expect a bit more of patience, given that all the pieces in the chain have 
no infinite time.
