Hey all,
I got my WinTV Go card running okay under XawTV, and am now able to play TV
on the PC. The next part (well, my original goal) is to record from Super8
and VHS video to make a presentation.
I seem to be running into problems recording sound under both streamer (from
XawTV) and lavrec (from mjpegtools). Using lavrec and the following script, I
get the following:
The capture script:

Basically, the video looks good, but I get no audio. When I play XawTV, I get
sound. When I record and playback - no sound.

Where do I turn next to get sound working when recording from my WinTV card? I
can record from CD's and play back. I can hear sound when playing XawTV. I
can even hear sound when running the capture script above. I just do not get
sound when playing it back. Help!
Hardware-wise, I am using a Hauppage WinTV Go card and an EnsonIQ sound card.
I have a cable running from the TV card to the sound card (out on the TV
card, in on the sound card).
