The results were kind of odd!
** Checked DSP and DSP0 while running XawTV (and hearing sound through
line-out in the WinTV Go! Card **
[EMAIL PROTECTED] bruce]# fuser /dev/dsp0
/dev/dsp0: No such file or directory
[EMAIL PROTECTED] bruce]# fuser /dev/sound/dsp0
/dev/sound/dsp0: No such file or directory
[EMAIL PROTECTED] bruce]# fuser /dev/sound/dsp
[EMAIL PROTECTED] bruce]# fuser /dev/dsp

** Next, started up XMMS and listened to MP3 radio **
[EMAIL PROTECTED] bruce]# fuser /dev/dsp
/dev/dsp: 13026 13027 13028 13029 13030 13031 13032
[EMAIL PROTECTED] bruce]# fuser /dev/dsp0
/dev/dsp0: No such file or directory
[EMAIL PROTECTED] bruce]# fuser /dev/sound/dsp
/dev/sound/dsp: 13026 13027 13028 13029 13030 13031 13032
[EMAIL PROTECTED] bruce]# fuser /dev/sound/dsp0
/dev/sound/dsp0: No such file or directory

Don't know how I'm getting sound from WInTV - although the physical connection
is a cable from line out on the WinTV Go card to line in on the EnsonIQ card,
and when playing ZawTV, the sound comes out my speakers attached to the
EnsonIQ card.
