To be honest my two biggest problems with all this are;

  1. Affirmation of LUFC’s ability to fall at the last hurdle, resulting in us stupidly getting our hopes raised and dashed, again.
  2. Seeing Watford go up and thinking that could (should?) have been us, and all the glory that seems to have gone with it.  I actually feel a little sorry for Sheff Utd and Reading!!

In footballing in terms I never expected us to go up and would much prefer us to go up after having an enjoyable season winning lots of matches.

I also think the playoffs are a load of crap.. either they should be between the 3rd placed championship side and the 4th bottom prem side (because then it means something), or they should scrap them and go back to the top 3 going up.  If it wasn’t for the comfort zone of the playoffs we wouldn’t have taken our foot off the pedal and would have pushed Sheff Utd closer or finished 3rd comfortably.

Its just about the money so I think they’d be better off introducing a £1 per ticket levy on all championship matches and dish that money out to 4/5/6 in the league at the end of the season.

Actually I think it's a blessing. We didn't deserve promotion. Maybe this is a wake up call and we can play 4-4-2 all next season, not this atrocious 4-5-1.

I was so tired/leathered that I left at half time. Proper part-timer you see!
