What I was hoping for before it started was at least a game, the wild
dream we might win was just that. What I didn't want was a fucking

We were well beaten on the day but who the hell thought it was a good idea
to play the rugby final yesterday and the football today ? Why not the other
way around ? There was no way that playing on the ground was going to work
today on that pitch. Watfords first half arial bombardment was just the job
on that pitch, horrible though it was to watch.
Watford have rugby connections don't they ? Conspiracy theories for every
occasion. Yes it was memories of Villa at Wembley but I would say that the
players had more heart today - or perhaps the Villa match was a bigger shock
at the time. Apart from that, just about everything went against us and some
days it is just like that. Still, Ken can go to the bank on Monday with
another legit wad of cash..
