OK, so if I get it right this is an important preliminary step, since
hunspell can now digest your .dic and .aff file properly (and you can
successfully check both the "base" and the "derived" words).
Now that you have a working dictionary we can look at fixing the
possibly remaining bugs in the extension. Can you share an updated
version of the extension?
With the extension version you shared previously I saw:
- Spell-check icon next to Rhaeto-Romanic in Format-Character (good)
- All words underlined (bad)
- Unmunch and hunspell -d did not understand your files (bad, hopefully
fixed)
I always test on a clean profile, but indeed the recommendation Ariel
gave (clear your OpenOffice profile if you experience weird behavior of
the spell checker) still holds.
