Is your problem with the extension or with the .aff and .dic files? I
tried running unmunch on them
$ unmunch sursilvan.dic sursilvan.aff
and it crashed on the Ordinalzahlen section. I commented out that
section and I get meaningless output, like

This looks quite wrong, see the many repetitions and patterns that are
not applied. By comparison, the Italian dictionary produces an output like
radioabbonato
radioabbonati
radioabbonata
radioabbonate
which looks far more reasonable.
So, the question for you is: how did you test the dictionaries? And with
what version of Hunspell? You don't need OpenOffice to do it, just
$ hunspell -d sursilvan
and then enter words and you should get different output. If you need
help with this just ask.
I found out that I forgot the manifest, so I added it now. But what
is it doing? You know, I have to describe everything in my paper, so
what is it needed for?

And I am still looking for a description of the hunspell enginge. The
files have no funcionality by there own, so what is implemented in
OpnOffice to reach the whole functionality and does exist a
description about that?
