I think you missed my point, earlier.
Yes women can be whatever they want to be, and yes, models get paid, quite
a lot, I understand. I think that modelling is as valid a profession as
anything...however, that does not exempt anyone, from treating them with
respect. I doubt those models really mind having their pictures shown that
way, etc. since everyone knows what the purpose is for.
My point was simply that it is tiring and as I woman I often get the
impression that men are more interested in me for my body than for what I
actually know about computers or networking.
I also understand that many women buy into the whole "sex-object" thing,
but that doesn't mean its right or good to continue to view women that
way. And it also seems that there are many women and men on this list who
don't buy into objectification. Just because 20 lemmings jump off a cliff
doesn't make it a good idea.
