Let's no be naive here: 'women' buy into the whole sex object treatment just as much as any male that I know. Models get paid, don't they? Aren't they just as 'responsible' for their objectification as the next person, or the viewer? Nature maintains the objectification of both men AND women, it's not levied on one or the other.
