No, essentially I'm saying that the number speak for themselves and I think it's unrealistic to assume that the *majority* of people eligible to vote vote on most RFCs. Of course I know that sometimes people are undecided or deliberately don't want to take part in voting once or ever - but compare https://wiki.php.net/rfc/scalar_type_hints_v5#vote - 156 votes with https://wiki.php.net/rfc/context_sensitive_lexer#vote - 48 votes > >> TL;DR: I'd prefer no one actively trying to lobby anyone else to vote in >> their favor, but prodding people with a neutral "hey, check out this > > I'd prefer people to express their opinions and try to convince others > freely, without any allegation that doing so is somehow bad and should > be prohibited. I thought I said that, so yes, agreed :) Of course I don't want to limit proper discussions. ~Florian -- PHP Internals - PHP Runtime Development Mailing List To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
